Our Story
Johan and Priyanka were introduced by their dear friend, Vivian Cromwell. A renowned photographer and San Francisco food scene mover and shaker, Vivian also has an excellent sense of when two people will connect. She was spot on with #JJPri, as they call themselves.
Johan came to pick Priyanka up from her apartment in San Francisco for their first date and the minute their eyes met, there was magic in the air. Priyanka discovered the proverbial “butterflies in her stomach” feeling was indeed real. Johan for his part felt an inexplicable rush of joy and ease.
Their first dinner was an exchange of two cultures, a conversation between two people from completely different backgrounds - one a tech worker from Silicon Valley by way of India and another a real-world entrepreneur from Sweden. Yet somehow with the same taste in food!
Soon after, the two began dating and Johan met Priyanka’s ultimate gatekeeper, Ollie, her cuddly Catahoula. While usually reticent, Ollie fell in love with Johan even faster than Priyanka did! And the road to forever was cleared :-).
Today, the couple live with Olls in their San Francisco home with Johan whipping up new culinary delights every week and Priyanka welcoming their dear community home to try his latest concoctions.
Together, they have found love in hopeful place. There’s joy, laughter, and support in their life thanks to the beautiful people in it.

Welcome Drinks

Dress Code: Bollywood Glam!
Join us for a welcome evening to meet old friends and new and say hi to the bride and groom. This event will be an Indian Henna night with henna tattoo artists, Indian food and music, and a suggestion to dress in your shiniest Indian clothes :-).
The Big Day!
Date: July 2, 2022
Time: 4:30pm - Midnight PT
Location: Hans Fahden Winery, Calistoga
Dress Code: Summer Formal (Black Tie Optional)
Attend our big wedding bash on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at the delightful and whimsical Hans Fahden winery. We will start with, what we hope to be, a beautiful ceremony, followed by cocktails, dinner, the traditional wedding stuff. The night will end in a big dance party. So bring your dancing shoes! Calistoga is warm in July and the sun sets late. Our festivities start outside and end in a wine cave which is cooler. So we recommend wearing strong sun protection and dressing accordingly.
Fourth of July BBQ

Dress Code: All American, freedom vibes
For those who will still be in the area, join us for a casual Fourth of July BBQ at Johan’s family’s AirBnb. There will be burgers and hot dogs and vegetarian options galore by the poolside in sunny Calistoga. Also, don’t forget your bathing suits!
